How do I schedule a HazMatIQ class at my department?

How can I sign up individually to attend a HazMatIQ class? Check out our upcoming classes on our schedule, and find a class is you would like to attend. Then just shoot us an email with the date and location, and we will gladly give you more information to sign up!

How do I find out more information on receiving grant money to help fund HazMatIQ training? Many grants can be used to fund HazMatIQ training. Click here to find out more.

Is HazMatIQ DHS Approved? YES! HazMatIQ Training is currently under temporary approval by DHS, and just waiting for their permanent approval.

When scheduling a HazMatIQ class, what is included in the price?
Included in the price is instructor fees, course materials, and all other related expenses, for a class of up to 30 students.

How do I update my HazMatIQ Smart Chart?
Exchanging your HazMatIQ Chart is easy. Just send your old charts along with a $25.00 check payable to HazMatIQ to:HazMatIQ PO Box 274 Waxhaw, NC 28173. For more information on Smart Chart Exchange click here.

How much does it cost to replace each set of charts?
Each packet of charts, hooked together by chain is $25.00 to exchange.

What does KI paper stand for?
KI Paper is Potassium Iodide Paper. It is made by CTL Scientific and can be purchased by clicking here.

What does the 3/30 rule stand for?
The 3/30 rule refers to a quick response, line of sight entry. If people are down, (assuming DOA) this rule states it is safe for entry in turnout gear and self contained breathing apparatus for up to 3 minutes. If when arriving on scene people are able to move, you may enter in turnout gear and self contained breathing apparatus for up to 30 minutes. For more information on the 3/30 rule, please click here
